Yes, we can. If the artex is in good condition and firmly attached, we can apply a bonding coat and then skim over it to create a smooth, modern finish. If the artex is very heavy or loose, we may recommend over-boarding with new plasterboard before skimming for the best result.

This depends on the time of year and the ventilation in the room. Generally, you should wait about 3 to 5 days for a skim coat to turn a consistent light pink colour. For thicker plastering or dry-lining, it may take a bit longer. We always recommend using a "mist coat" (thinned-down paint) for your first layer once it is dry.
